Teleconference is nothing but having a conference or a meeting over the telephone medium. It is amazing and interesting to know how it works; initially I used to think that is some technology that is very sophisticated, technical and costly facility. Only once I used it, I understood I was dumb! Yes it is a boon for companies spread across geographies, it is extremely simple to use, and it does not involve any complications. It is as good as making a telephone call. It’s a cake walk, yet accomplishes a lot of jobs speedily.
As an user all I know is I will have Dial a number which connects me to the conference room, where other participants are also connected, the same way as I’m. It does involve some telecom technology, which I need not bother about.
It can connect any number of participants @ a time, with the same clarity as one to one conversation, it is very very user friendly.
Now I can communicate with a group of people but just calling my conferencing number, earlier I had to travel mid town, and I used to lose all my enthusiasm and energy in the process. Meetings use to bother me a lot as it involved nothing but hassles.
